Popular Activities

The Novato Fountain of Ukes strum and sing each Friday from 9-11:30am at the MTSC. Beginners are Welcome  … you’ll be strumming in no time! They play songs from the 1920’s through the present. They also enjoy playing Hawaiian songs and several members have learned to do the Hula and are lead by our own Ellie Meyers who was born in Hawaii and started dancing the Hula when she was 5. Although she was never a professional teacher, she has many, many students who are now passing along everything she taught them about the basic steps of the Hula. NSCC’s Fountain of Ukes are more than just music … they enjoy sharing the Aloha spirit of love and friendship.

Join them or watch for them spreading the joy at Novato’s Fourth of July Parade, Center Events, Community Events and Senior Retirement Communities.

Additional activities are Bocce Ball from March – September, Friday Flicks Movies, Potluck Lunch with Pirate Bingo, and a new activity, a Coloring Group.
